Kickoff Session
Map your Organization, build your Power
You’re trying to transform your organization—make it more innovative, more digitally centered, and more capable of great design outcomes. But day-to-day, things aren’t easy: Projects stall, priorities shift, and progress feels slow. Feel familiar? This session is for you. We’ll kick off our time in Barcelona with a deep-dive into why so many design leaders get stuck when trying to make change in large enterprises or traditional industries, and what you can do to achieve your vision instead. At the heart of this work is understanding power: How does it move through your organization? Who holds sway in the areas that are most important to design? Which informal relationships and alignments can help you get things done and which ones might create roadblocks? And perhaps most importantly, where does your own power lie?
